Come learn more about conservation practices and network with other farm women in your region! Carol Larsen spent 40+ years growing a specialty crop, cut flowers, successfully. Today the farm and business have transition to the capable hands of her son and daughter-in-law, Hans and Lisa Larsen. Learn about: on farm conservation practices, pollinator habitat in a production system, high tunnel flower production, and establishing sales avenues in a constantly changing economy and farm succession.

Women Caring for the Land was designed by Women, Food & Agriculture Network to serve women farmland landowners who are interested in learning more about conservation. Research has shown women value women-only meetings with their peers. These events provide women landowners and farmers the opportunity to network with their peers and learn from resource professionals. Men are welcome to join for the farm tour portion, however the learning circle space is for women only.
